artisan@ann-atelier: I'm a 30-year old chemist and teacher living in a queer flat in the beautiful small town of Berne in Switzerland. I like rainy, windy weather, indian food and the haunted northern forests. My family comes from Finland and Switzerland. Motivation: While getting ahead in science, I became more and more aware that I really miss the sensible and inspiring atmosphere of craftwork. Arts and craftmanship have a long tradition in our family, starting from my grand-parents who were either passionate painters, talented seamstresses, or gifted violin players. My parents write and enjoy good literature.  So I acquired a taste for it and established my atelier in autumn 2006.
